
The Transport Committee was formed in 2007 to look at community transport within Heathfield. An accessibility audit was undertaken in 2007 and is available to the public via the Heathfield and Waldron Parish council office, the library and on this website. The Partnership is currently working towards putting together a collective administration system to enable local organisations/groups to hire spare capacity vehicles for outings and transport to events. This scheme should be operational from October 2008 and the Partnership Co-ordinator (see contact us page) can be contacted for more information on the scheme.
A ‘Getting out and about in Heathfield' leaflet was published in 2007 by the Heathfield and Waldron Parish council and was an objective that came from the questionnaire that was organised by the Partnership. This was distributed to every household in the Parish and is also available on this website.
